Ruchir Bhakta known to most people as Chia, yes pronounced like the Chia pet, is from Saint Louis, MO. He went to Pattonville Highschool and then to Milliken University.
Julie Ferrell is from Dupo, IL. She went to Gibault Catholic Highschool in Waterloo, IL and then to SIU - Edwardsville. She currently works as the Finance Manager at MAC Meetings and Events.
Chia and Julie met five summers ago, while playing sand volleyball. Julie was playing on a different team at the time and was randomly asked by another team if she would like to play for them. Chia happened to be on Julie's new team. Chia and Julie hung out a few times and began dating shortly thereafter. To fall in love was the last thing either of them were expecting, but it worked out to be perfectly imperfect.
